High School Basketball

Well I guess mama was wrong. She told me that cheaters never win. But in girls basketball, the cheaters do win. Just look at the teams who won yesterday, and you'll see many of those teams openly recruit. Take a look: LB Poly: Been doing it for years. Got busted for a 'paperwork error' a few years ago and still was allowed to win a title. I think it's happened so much with them people have just stopped talking about them. Same can be said about Brea. Mater Dei: Coach Kiernan's wife recruits for him, everyone knows it. Just like he got all those Monterey Park Heat girls to go to Troy, he's getting these girls to go to Mater Dei. However, he is a great coach. Edison: Ask the other coaches in the league about the Edison coach. They'll tell you all about him. Inglewood: Openly goes after other teams' players. Even got caught cheating and had to forfeit games. No matter, he still wins because he got to keep all the other kids he recruited illegally. Sad cause the dude can't coach, but somehow Inglewood got placed in this joke of a division. Marlborough: Coach started w/ Coach Quintero's girls that he recruited to Marlborough, and he's carried on the tradition successfully. Just ask him and he'll tell you. If they didn't let him bring girls in he'd quit. Pacific Hills: They started when the current coach brought girls from his club team from waayyy away from where the school is, and it continues now. They should be in a much tougher division and everyone knows it. Cheap title they're about to win. Gardena Serra: Another joke. They sucked 2 years ago, but the new coach lived at club tournaments in the off-season and now they're very good. Already have on excellent player on the roster that they're not playing because of possible CIF sanctions. Joke that they're in this division, when everyone else in their league is much higher. Huge joke. Bell-Jeff: Everyone knows their story. Another coach who lives at club ball tournaments. How they are this low is a mystery. Cheap title they're about to win. I openly root against them and all these other cheaters. So mama, you were worng. These cheaters are all winners!
